My name is Beth Still and I am based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. I began my career in education teaching high school social studies. Nine out of my first ten years in education were spent teaching in an alternative learning environment. I had the privilege of teaching brilliant students who, for a variety or reasons, were unsuccessful in a traditional classroom setting. During that time, I helped launch an online learning academy that served the needs of students across western Nebraska. I gained a tremendous amount of experience building curriculum and developing f2f, blended, and online classes. I developed a passion for technology integration which led me to pursue a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Educational Technology.
Shortly after I obtained my degree, I accepted a district level position as a K-12 Innovation Specialist. My job was to support teachers as they began to explore their shifting role and help them determine how technology could (and should!) be used to enhance the learning experiences of their students.
I'm one of those people who truly believes that everything happens for a reason. At the conclusion of the 2016-2017 school year, some things fell into place which allowed me to pursue my dream of supporting teachers around the country. I have spent years building a unique set of skills and I am ready to share my passion and expertise with your organization.
